For the DECYMAL Homeopathic Laboratory in Gdańsk, located at ul. Kartuska, using the technology of the Gravitational Drilling Rig, a trenchless arrangement of the DN 160 sanitary sewage canal was made of PP Modular Pipes 180x10.9. Installation length 15 meters. A decrease of 0.3% was required.

The installation had to be made from the place adjacent to the building to the existing sanitary sewage system. The existing well was on the opposite side of the busy street.

The installation was started from the starting chamber in which the Gravity Drilling Rig was installed using a specialized formwork / adapter.

A pilot drilling was made from the starting chamber to a well located on the opposite side of the street. Then, the drilling head was replaced with a reaming head, which was equipped with the Modular Pipe segment, and the installation process began by assembling subsequent pipe segments.

The process of building the sewage pipe installation was completed when the pipe made of segments was pulled into the starting chamber.

Due to the limited space around the launch chamber and the proximity to a busy roadway at the existing sewer manhole, the use of Gravity Drilling technology was the only alternative in this case to allow for a fully trenchless installation of this system. The use of other technologies with the use of a bentonite scrubber system could result in the risk of excessive washing of the native soil from the vicinity of the installed pipe. This could lead to the dangerous consequences of the collapse of the road surface under which the sanitary sewage system was under construction. The technology with the use of the Gravity Drilling Rig does not wash out the soil around the installation, but it even strengthens and compacts it.
