Precision and modern methods in the heart of industrial Gdańsk
The works were executed in an area with dense technical infrastructure — adjacent to existing stormwater sewers, sanitary networks, and electrical and water installations.
We installed a 180 mm polypropylene (PP) pipe, appropriately sized for the new connection. This provides durability, watertightness and resistance to mechanical loads.
The entire process was completed without open trenches, road closures or intervention in the pavement — this is the advantage of trenchless methods over traditional open-cut works.
Minimal intervention — maximal effect
By using existing sewer manholes and careful work planning, there was no need to construct additional launch shafts or to dismantle infrastructure.
The works were executed quickly, safely and in a controlled manner — maintaining flows and the integrity of adjacent networks.
The MIDO gravity drilling rig technology enabled maintenance of an accurate slope and a stable bore path, which is critical for the efficient operation of sewer systems.
